MAGNIFICATION GUIDELINES - - Zadro suggests that 7X magnification is most appropriate for people who wear high-strength prescription glasses. 5X magnification is for people who wear lower strength prescription glasses. Young eyes that do not require prescription glasses (generally less than 30 years old and especially college-age and younger) may not be able to tolerate any magnification.
