Amcor PLM14000E Portable Air Conditioner - - Amcor PLM14000E portable air conditioner is designed to work in a room up to 400 square feet. (Note: If the room has a heat source such as direct sunlight or computer servers, the AC coverage area may be reduced.) Amcor's patented Self Evaporative Booster Technology uses the evaporative cooling effect of the condensation to improve performance. Amcor PLM14000E and PLM14000EH units must be vented via exhaust hose and window kit. A window mounted exhaust kit with an extendable hose (up to 5') is included in the package.
During the cooling process, water is extracted from the air as it passes through the unit. Most of this water is used to cool the unit and make it run more efficiently. This unit has a built-in water tank (not removable) with a drain outlet. When the tank fills, the compressor stops running. At this time the tank should be emptied.
